Francisco Navarro is one of Mexico's finest luthiers. He has rapidly been gaining an outstanding international reputation for fine classical and flamenco guitars.
He makes three different models of each – Student, Concert, and Special Grand Concert, and all are constructed in his own workshop. The student models are signed label luthier guitars constructed by Francisco Navarro family members, themselves skilled luthiers, and under the immediate supervision of Francisco Navarro. All other models are constructed by Francisco Navarro himself and signed.
Francisco Navarro's signed models are world class instruments that rival much higher priced guitars, but carry a very affordable price structure. With models to suit beginners to performing artists, Francisco Navarro's guitars are one of the best values on the market.
His top model - the Special Grand Concert - is a copy of famous vintage luthier guitars. He makes five different copies of classical guitars. For flamenco guitars he makes a copy of a flamenco blanca from the eighties by legendary luthier Manuel Reyes. This is an exact copy down to the last detail, even including the same headstock.
For classical guitars he builds copies of vintage guitars by Hauser - Bouchet - Friederich - Smallman - Miguel Rodriguez.
